About Me
Originally from Varanasi, U.P., Sonu is a passionate and skilled guitarist with formal training from Trinity College London (New Delhi) in Western Classical Guitar and from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad (Calcutta) in Spanish Guitar. Backed by 3.5+ years of teaching experience across renowned institutions like Guitar Monk, Rhythm Tree, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, and currently The Sovereign School, he blends classical technique with modern flair.
Sonu’s journey in music is not just technical—it’s deeply spiritual. With a strong faith in the divine, he believes that music is a gift meant to inspire, heal, and connect. Sonu Kumar Singh holds a four-year certification in Western Classical Guitar from Trinity College London (New Delhi), where he mastered staff notation, classical repertoire, and graded performance techniques. Additionally, he completed a three-year course in Spanish Guitar from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad (Calcutta), enriching his style with rhythm-focused, expressive playing rooted in flamenco and folk traditions.
Alongside his music credentials, he is a graduate from IGNOU, Delhi, and has completed a six-month diploma in computer applications, supporting his ability to teach music efficiently through digital platforms. His training blends technical expertise with artistic expression, allowing him to mentor students of all levels with clarity, structure, and heart.
